For as long as I can remember I have prided myself on my OCD tendencies and ability to thoroughly plan out every detail of every situation while simultaneously being at least 15 minutes early. I’d always get jokes from friends and family, but I never really saw this as a problem. Until now.
I never really understood how expensive a wedding was until I was in the midst of planning it. Which I am, right now. Every little thing tacks on an extra expense and before long you can easily be well over what you planned.
Everyone always says they want a destination wedding. Then after the guest list starts to pile up and you look into airfare, hotel stay, and the look on Grandma’s face when she realizes she can’t make it to the ceremony, people dishearteningly opt-out. Even after all that, we opted in and here’s why.
It is September. So I officially have fall fever. Sad, but true. Something about being able to wear my jeans & flannel while drinking a pumpkin coffee out by a fire, without sweating to death, just makes me feel so warm and cozy inside. I’m basic and I love it! #sorrynotsorry
